February Book Club
Welcome back to Book Club! This month we will be reading Shit Cassandra Saw by Gwen E Kirby.
“Margaret Atwood meets Buffy in these funny, warm, and furious stories of women at their breaking points, from Hellenic times to today.”
Our event will be on February 29, from 6-8pm.
We will be enjoying a tea party at local shop, Partly. This shop is dear to my heart as it is owned and run by two of my favorite people. Martina Thornhill and Drew Steadham are committed to creating and nurturing a community space for folks to gather and be witnessed. Martina offers gorgeous ceramics, workshops etc., while Drew curates an incredible library of literature, art and music. Because they pour intention and compassion into everything they do, there is ample opportunity to learn, explore, converse, celebrate, share etc., in the safe space they provide. I highly suggest coming into the shop on Fridays to pick Drew’s brain!
There will be food, drinks, desserts, discussion and a raffle. See you there!
